Domaine de Grachies White
One of the deals of the century. This relaxed and uncomplicated white blend from the South West of France is a delicious wine for an unbeatable price. The Gascony region south of Bordeaux is famed for Armagnac, Musketeers and secretly fabulous wines. This is an example of the Côtes de Gascogne’s appeal and value from Domaine de Grachies (say Gra-she). It’s a four-grape blend composed of stars from the region: Colombard, Ugni-Blanc (both used for Armagnac), Gros Manseng, and the more familiar Sauvignon Blanc. If you drink Sauvignon, you’ll love this fresh, crisp, dry white wine. A year-round quaffer, this should be your house white.
