Repeat Shiraz 2012

Want to be the host with the most this summer? One of the fundamental steps to any summer shindig is choosing a wine that your guests will enjoy. This is not an insurmountable task and can easily be done with a bit of snooping and some vino investigation. Find out whether your guests prefer light and sweet wines or spicy and full-bodied wines. For the group that enjoys the latter, Repeat is a simple yet succulent wine that is a crowd pleaser.
Repeat is a South Australian 2012 vintage comprised of 70% Shiraz and 30% Zinfandel. The addition of the juicy Zin to the rustic Shiraz mellows out the full flavour and makes for a knockout combination. Its deep violet colour and black pepper aroma mingles perfectly with the subtle taste of rhubarb and tobacco leaf.  Repeat is an incredibly balanced blend with medium tannins, acidity and body. The finish is juicy and warm but leaves you with a lingering spice. This bold red would be delicious paired with rich or BBQ’d meats. At $18.99, Repeat can fit any party planners budget without losing out on quality and taste.
